CA Fire Life Safety Technician
Location: California (Multiple Service Areas)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CA Fire Life Safety Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, and troubleshooting a variety of fire alarm systems while ensuring all work is performed according to applicable codes and standards. If you’re passionate about fire safety and excel at problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Program and configure various fire alarm systems (SK, FireLite, Potter).
- Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, including opens, grounds, speaker circuits, and other common issues.
- Perform installations of fire systems in accordance with City of Los Angeles regulations.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and compliance with NFPA 72 and NEC 70 standards.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience programming and troubleshooting SK, FireLite, and Potter systems.
- Strong diagnostic skills related to opens, grounds, and speaker circuits.
- Familiarity with City of LA standards for fire system installation.
- In-depth knowledge of NFPA 72 and NEC 70 codes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
